... not very happy with Croatia and the handball team right now...

Woohooo... managed 3 posts and then had a tiny break of 4 months...

What's new since last?
I suppose the biggest thing is that I bought the apartment I shared with my friend Fredric.
Fredric moved out and in with some male friends who are in the music business. I guess that's more fun :) Since I've been single for such a long time it's quite alright to be back to having the place to myself. Now I can do all the unbecomming things that women aren't supposed to do ;)

Place is sort of big, but I reasoned that..yes I could have found something a bit cheaper, but then it would have been further away from the city and I wouldn't know the surroundings. And I really like this area. Anyway - Now I'm in debt over my ears, but it's a good thing to know it's really my place and that I don't have to move around. I'm too old for that!! ;)
Had all the plumbing re-done. It took 2 months and during this time I was without water and bathroom. Finally had it back friday before x-mas. Oh joy!

One of my best friends - Kate, who lives in the UK - is getting married in february, and I'm gonna be her maid of honor. That's the closest I'll ever get to a wedding. LOL. The dress she's chosen for me is beautiful! I will have to tone my arms a bit though...hehe... off to the gym tomorrow...

Wasted time

Sunday 10 PM.
Got absolutley nothing done today.
Did some needlepoint and had a nap.
Re-heated food from yesterday.
Tried to work from home but couldn't access job computor

How come it's so hard to start doing something useful?

Going on business trip to Gävle tomorrow. Have to be at central station at 7:10... Bläää

So far...

... well... I did some grocery shopping. Got the wine. Did the cooking (chicken with saffron rice and tsatziki). Had the nap :)

Thinking about maybe going to IKEA tomorrow, but knowing myself... don't count on it...

Had a text from Jessa about us meeting up soon. She's one of my oldest friends and we try see each other a couple of times each year even though we live far apart. Trying to send a text to Anna but it keeps failing. Weird...

Oh well... Gonna watch "Morse", light some candles and have a glass of wine.

Getting started?

Been thinking about blogging for quite some time, but have always dismissed it with blog getting too boring to read.
Sort of like: Woke up. Went to work. Worked. Got home. Sat at PC playing solitaire. Went to bed.
Let's see if I can make it (and my life) more interesting...

OK... here it goes....

To Do list for the weekend:
- Take a walk in nice weather (yeah... just waiting for it to appear)
- Shop for flower pots
- Buy flowers at Haymarket
- Get some red wine at Systembolaget
- Fix feet & nails (whatever is left of nails anyway)
- Tell landlord Frida about boardmeeting on tuesday (I'm buying the appartment - will tell you later)
- Answer all messages on Facebook/Myspace/Hotmail that have been sent by loving friends who has gotten nothing but silence in return BAD BAD BAD Karin!!!
- Work a bit from home... I know I shouldn't, but....
- Iron the heap of clothes in the spare room as to have something to wear...
- Re-arrange kitchen cupboards that are totally un-organized since room mate moved out.
- Cook
- Nap (favourite thing to do on saturday afternoon)
- Etc etc

Off I go. I'll let you know if I get anything done... :)
